SlideCam Body

The SlideCam Body is the latest addition to the innovative SlideCam sternum strap adjustment system, which allows for infinite sternum strap adjustment without the drawbacks of pipping/slider systems. The SlideCam Body accepts 16mm Mach I latches, and is angled for horizontal sternum straps with left-side mounting.

The SlideCam system has a simple construction, comprising of a 10mm strap sewn down the middle. This eliminates the need for the complicated and inaccurate process of wrapping fabric around plastic pipping. To adjust the sternum strap, simply lift the cam door, move the SlideCam Body to the desired position, and shut the cam door to lock in place. This locking mechanism prevents the SlideCam Body from moving during hiking. Backpack construction can include access to remove or replace the SlideCam Body if necessary.
